Un-audited  Financial  RESULTS  of  Q1 of  Year 2010-11   

 

Balaji Amines Limited is an ISO 9001 – 2008 accredited company with a unique positioning in the field of Manufacture of specialty chemicals, Aliphatic amines and its derivatives, addressing to the needs of API’s, Agrochemicals, Rubber chemicals, Water treatment chemicals,    Refineries and other industries in the Domestic  & Global markets.

 

The Company operates from  2 of its  facilities in Solapur, Maharashtra and one at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh with dedicated Research and Development centers which are continuously engaged in development of new products. The Company has been instrumental in introducing new products  and expanding existing facilities every year.

 

Key Operating Highlights:

 

  1. Net Sales increased by 34% for the first quarter of FY  10-11 from Rs. 58.85 crore    of   previous year to Rs. 78.91 crore  for the current year.
  2. Profit After Tax increased by  24% over the Q1 of  previous year PAT of Rs. 5.01 crore  to Rs. 6.22 crore .
  3. Exports increased by  50% over the previous year figures of Rs. 12.43  crore  to  Rs. 18.64  crore .   The exports for the Q1 of FY 10-11  stands at  24%  of the Net Sales.

 

            Additional information:     

 

·         During the current  year the following  expansion/ diversification projects have been taken up.

1)       NMP / 2P of 15000 MT per  annum  to be commissioned by Dec – 2010 at MIDC, Chincholi, Solapur.

2)       Development of 100 Room hotel property at Solapur to be operational  by mid 2012.  A formal agreement with SAROVAR Group of Hotels has been entered for operating / managing the Hotel property.

3)      Continuous Research  & Development  activities for process  development of specialty chemicals.
